The Finance and Insurance sector has been identified as one of the top three super sectors in DuPage County. On March 15, 2007, the Workforce Boards of Metropolitan Chicago hosted a Finance and Insurance Workforce Summit in Chicago. The Summit focused on workforce demands such as :
- Attracting a diverse group of employees
- Retaining and developing employees
- Building a regional workforce development partnership
- Managing a diverse workforce
