Pathways to the Workforce Committee

Du Page County's future successful economic and workforce development depend on the interest and involvement of a wide range of individuals and organizations. The Pathways Committee will ensure a broad range of community leaders and system stakeholders are included in planning for the workforce of tomorrow to give DuPage County an economic advantage and a competitive workforce with the skills, ability and knowledge required by industry.

What do we want to accomplish?

Produce a skilled workforce that supports regional business competitiveness.

What will success look like?

  1. Employers have defined "work readiness skills" and engage with the workforce and education system to produce work ready individuals.
  2. DuPage County residents are aware of and prepared to obtain employment in high demand, high growth family wage occupations.
  3. The education and training system delivers skill training that meets local labor market demands and continually improves the skills and ability of each worker to advance in their career.
