Pathways to the Workforce Committee
Du Page County's future successful economic and workforce development depend on the interest and involvement of a wide range of individuals and organizations. The Pathways Committee will ensure a broad range of community leaders and system stakeholders are included in planning for the workforce of tomorrow to give DuPage County an economic advantage and a competitive workforce with the skills, ability and knowledge required by industry.
What do we want to accomplish?
Produce a skilled workforce that supports regional business competitiveness.
What will success look like?
- Employers have defined "work readiness skills" and engage with the workforce and education system to produce work ready individuals.
- DuPage County residents are aware of and prepared to obtain employment in high demand, high growth family wage occupations.
- The education and training system delivers skill training that meets local labor market demands and continually improves the skills and ability of each worker to advance in their career.
